The Robin Hood in Stretford certainly knows how to throw a party. During the week it is fairly quiet, a nice stop off point for a couple after work. Usual faces and so on. It gets much busier on Friday and Saturday, as is the norm for drinking houses of course. It's quite reasonably priced; although the crisps are always, always, just about in date. Which is okay, not exactly the end of the world. But if you're a crisp connoisseur, then this may be off putting. Seriously though, chill out.

The Robin Hood...A pub? Or a death wish? Went here with a fews mates for a small drink a few weeks before Christmas. The drinks themselves are reasonable priced but the atmosphere within the pub isn't the best. The same faces are in there each day and day out. This would not be a place to take a girlfriend/wife for a drink as it's full of people that give girls the wrong attention. One of the staff was very unpolite and no matter how many times we tried to get a game of pool the same people were on for 3 hours saying winning stays on. We put are mark down so we could have a shot when finished and they ended up using it for another game! Staff weren't helpful in assisting us with this. Would not recommend!
